Bonner Hill is about 32 acres and was opened in 1855 and a crematorium was added in 1952 and Lower Marsh Lane opened in 1915 has about 11 acres with 1.5 acres set aside for future use. Notable people who were buried in Kingston Cemetery include Thomas Hansard who edited Parliamentary debates, A.C. Ranyard the editor of Truth magazine and Dr Joseph Moloney, African explorer.
