Friends of Linthorpe Cemetery  
The site is of historical importance and is more than 50 acres in size with a large mature woodland. With the co-operation of local historians and naturalists and help from the council, efforts are being made to gain more active support from the local community. Work has begun on a Children's Memorial to commemorate the burials in unmarked graves of the children from the nearby hospital. The lodge at the entrance has been renovated and extended.
