Stockport
Friends of Stockport Cemeteries
The group was established in 2003 as a response to the laying down of headstones in Stockport’s cemeteries following health and safety concerns. Since then the group has worked closely with Stockport Council to make improvements to all cemeteries and closed churchyards in Stockport and play an active role in determining future plans.
Heritage trail walks are held throughout the year at Willow Grove Cemetery, Central drive, Stockport SK5 7JQ.
